Allow myself to introduce … uh … myself

Hello and welcome to Keeper Experts, a blog devoted specifically to fantasy baseball keeper leagues! My name is Jim and I am the creator of this blog. To get things going around here, I thought I would introduce myself and (hopefully) give you a reason to keep coming back.

The reason for starting this blog is pretty simple. I have played fantasy baseball for a number of years but only recently earned a spot in my first keeper league (yes, I had to prove I was ready for the league). In an effort to be as competitive as quickly as possible, I scoured the internet for keeper league-specific sites but couldn’t find anything. In fact, what I did find was the most popular fantasy baseball sites basically mentioned which players to target in keeper leagues but never mentioned why.I asked my co-writer on this blog Derrick, who I will have post an intro shortly, if he knew of any keeper sites and he basically told me what I knew, there really weren’t any. As a writer, I decided I would take a crack at fixing that oversight.

I know the name of the site may suggest that I am the expert, here to help everyone with their keeper quandries but what I hope this blog does is create a place for serious discussions on building fantasy baseball empires.

So once again, welcome … and feel free to open the discussion by suggesting what you would like to see discussed here on this blog.
