Looking for breakout players for 2011 and beyond

Fantasy baseball leagues are often won by those who roster low-cost or late-round breakout players in addition to the perennial studs. In 2010, winning teams rostered Carlos Gonzalez, Delmon Young, Kelly Johnson, Jose Bautista, Mat Latos, David Price and Ubaldo Jimenez. In 2009, it was Ben Zobrist, Aaron Hill, Adam Lind, Zack Greinke, Andrew Bailey and Josh Johnson.

On The Wire: NL Preseason Recap

Before the 2010 season began, I ran a series of posts naming one possible keeper candidate from each MLB team. Some of these guys were more obvious than others, but then again, some teams have a lot more talent than others. On The Wire: NL West Preseason

I want to start another new segment on this blog, focusing on potential keepers that can be found on the waiver wire. But since Spring Training just started and most leagues are still scheduling their drafts, I figured it would be a good opportunity to talk about some potential keepers that can be picked up during the last rounds or your drafts or for $1 at the end of the auction.
