Top 50 keepers unveiled

I apologize that things have been so quiet around here but I promise I have been hard at work. In fact, I am in the midst of creating a Top 150 keeper list and I think it does a good job of valuing both future potential and current value for more than just 2011.

The full 150 will be unveiled later this offseason – I want to see how the free agent market plays out before finalizing my list – but as a teaser, here’s my current Top 50 keepers. Obviously, this list is subject to change and is open for debate but hopefully the comments I have provided with the list give an idea of what I am thinking.

Allow myself to introduce … uh … myself

Hello and welcome to Keeper Experts, a blog devoted specifically to fantasy baseball keeper leagues! My name is Jim and I am the creator of this blog. To get things going around here, I thought I would introduce myself and (hopefully) give you a reason to keep coming back.

The reason for starting this blog is pretty simple. I have played fantasy baseball for a number of years but only recently earned a spot in my first keeper league (yes, I had to prove I was ready for the league). In an effort to be as competitive as quickly as possible, I scoured the internet for keeper league-specific sites but couldn’t find anything.
